​Hello, I'm Luna Anh Khanh Nguyen, a Vietnamese American and a graduate of CU Boulder with a degree majoring in Media, Communication, and Information with an emphasis in Media Design and a minor in Creative Technology and Design. I am a creative soul that loves to create stories and always comes up with new ideas. My upbringing as not only a first-gen Vietnamese American college student but also a Buddhist gave me a unique perspective of the world. Throughout my years of studying, I have studied multiple cultures and languages such as Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese alongside Vietnamese in my household. I even taught myself how to draw, and have developed my art skills even further with help from various professors and professionals. I'm a hard-working individual who always gives 120% at everything I do, and always helps others to achieve their 120% too. Whenever I get to demonstrate my creative works, I am always enthusiastic about my presentation and can barely hold my excitement. I have a great passion for new things and enjoy applying that knowledge whenever I can. Currently, I am looking forward to working with like-minded people in creating the best designs for the world to see and enjoy. My work includes illustration work, comics, concept art, graphic design, web design, and creative writing. I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Medibang, Clip Studio, and multiple adobe software. Plus, I am skilled in using various social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube, and website-building programs such as Wix and WordPress. I am well-versed in researching and can use and navigate informational programs like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Multiple experiences with design such as volunteer work for the An Bang Committee, Catchafire, and Nail Studio. I also have experience with illustrations from paid commissions during my time as a freelance illustrator. Besides my work, I am also a committed member of various clubs like the Design Club, Vietnamese Student Association, and Anime Club where I have formed a strong friendship with multiple people. After graduation, I hope to garner more experience, improve my skills along the way, and become a graphic designer and illustrator.
